Impact Manager


The Impact Manager is an all-encompassing position responsible for strategy, implementation and compliance surrounding Quality, Reliability, Health, Safety, Environment, Sustainability and Governance across all Paradigm Group companies.

Primarily based in the Netherlands HQ and Technology Centre but at times will require global travel during business /project support.

Reports to: CEO

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate current strategy (2023 Goals) for all Quality, reliability, Heath, Safety, Environment, Sustainability and Governance across all companies and define gaps and opportunities to improve in all areas.
  • Establish a strategy that is fit for purpose and in line with the company core values whilst maintaining competitiveness and agility.
  • Work closely with the business sector Managing Directors and their senior teams to establish SMART goals for 2024 and beyond for each business.
  • Hold Quarterly business reviews with each business sector to review progress against plan.
  • Maintain safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations.
  • Promote an injury/accident-free workplace through implementing leading initiatives.
  • Carry out incident reviews in line with legal and company policies.
  • Act as the talisman for the companies PULSE behavior based reporting application, managing follow up and communication of trends to all Paradigm employees.
  • Identify, coordinate and execute critical supplier audits.
  • Lead Customer audits.
  • Set and maintain the standards around ISO certification in relation to QHSE.
  • Ensure all risks in relation to Paradigm’s activies are identified, logged and mitigation plans in place across all companies.
  • Establish ESG principles for Paradigm group including Driving Net Zero.
  • Provide direction and guidance along with support for the various base QHSE functions on a global basis.
  • Provide Project QHSE support for engineering procedures including participating in client HAZID and HAZOP requirements.
  • Coordinate QHSE tender requirements on behalf of all Paradigm Companies.
  • Work closely with the HR teams to drive an all inclusive, highly motivated, healthy and loyal workforce with a high level of job satisfaction.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 10+ years in relevant industry experience.
  • Proven ability to develop, plan, manage and execute QRHSE initiatives
  • Willing to travel when required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft software packages.
  • Ability to travel globally.
  • Must be a UK or Netherlands resident or have an approved visa.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English as a minimum. Additional Spanish language would be beneficial.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced HSE Qualification as a minimum for Dutch (Veiligheidskundige) and/or UK (NEBOSH).
  • Quality Assurance Qualifications Advantageous
  • Project Management Exposure including extensive customer interaction.
  • Awareness of well Intervention / Coiled Tubing Operations beneficial.
  • Awareness of Pipeline / Subsea Operations beneficial.
