Why It Happens
Pipeline geometry with tight bends, varying diameters, or lack of pig launchers/receivers makes conventional pigging impractical or impossible. Traditional coiled tubing units require direct vertical access and cannot negotiate complex bend sequences. This leaves operators with few cost-effective options for routine cleaning or deposit removal.
How It Can Be Fixed
Deploy Paradigm’s Flexi-Coil® miniature flexible coiled tubing system. It navigates up to 1,000° of short-radius bends without damaging internal surfaces, reaches up to 15,000 ft depth (21,000 ft horizontal), and can be deployed from a lightweight, modular skid on the platform without rig or vessel support.
