Paradigm Technology Services B.V. is een toonaangevende vernieuwer in well intervention technologieën voor de wereldwijde energiemarkt. Sinds 2009 zijn door onze R&D-inspanningen een breed scala aan baanbrekende, duurzame producten en diensten ontwikkeld, waardoor klanten in de energiesector kunnen opereren met een sterk gereduceerde carbon footprint. Onze R&D is er ook op gericht toepassingen te vinden in de geothermische en subsea surveillance markten.

De persoon die wij zoeken:

Je vervult een hands-on engineering rol binnen onze productieafdeling. Deze afdeling is verantwoordelijk voor de productie en engineering van gespecialiseerde state-of-the-art (elektro)mechanische data-transmissiekabels (gecoate staal - en composietkabels). Als Development Engineer zorg je ervoor dat alle productielijnen optimaal draaien én voer je (projectmatig) product-en procesverbeteringen door. Je bent géén kantoortijger en bent dus veel aanwezig op de shop floor. Daardoor ben je in staat om afwijkingen en mogelijke verbeteringen te signaleren en de relevantie daarvan te duiden. Je werkt veilig, voelt je verantwoordelijk en werkt graag samen met anderen. Kwaliteiten van anderen weet je op waarde te schatten.

Representative test samples produceer je met behulp van onze innovatieve productietechnologie en high end engineering materialen. De statische - én dynamische producteigenschappen hiervan worden door jou getest in ons Fysisch - en High Pressure High Temperature laboratorium. Deze laboratoria zijn speciaal geoutilleerd om onze producten onder de zeer uitdagende praktijkomstandigheden te testen. Na een uitgebreide testfase wordt de productietechnologie opgeschaald en het product gecommercialiseerd.

Je beschikt over de volgende kwalificaties:

• MBO/HBO Materiaalkunde, Procestechnologie of een vergelijkbare opleiding met minimaal 5 jaar werkervaring in een van deze vakgebieden
• Expertise op het gebied van projectmatig werken is een pré
• Een flexibele instelling en gemotiveerd om voor een innovatief bedrijf te werken
• Je bent analytisch, oplossingsgericht en wil graag nieuwe dingen leren
• Je bent handig, creatief en hebt een hands-on mentaliteit
• Je beschikt over goede communicatieve en organisatorische vaardigheden
• Je bent gericht op de veiligheid, gezondheid en het welzijn van jezelf en je collega's bij de uitvoering van je functie

Who are we looking for:
You will fulfill a hands-on engineering role within our production department. This department is responsible for the production and engineering of specialized state-of-the-art (electro)mechanical data transmission cables (including coated steel and composite cables). As a Development Engineer, you will ensure that the production lines run optimally, and you will implement (project-based) product and process improvements. You will divide your time between the office and shop floor as required, and not be afraid to get ‘hand-on’ as needed. As a result, you are able to identify deviations, possible improvements and to fully interpret their relevance. You work safely, take responsibility and enjoy working with others.

Representative test samples are produced using our innovative production technology and high-end engineering materials. The static and dynamic properties of these products will be tested by you in our various laboratory environments designed specifically to simluate challenging application conditions. After the extensive testing phase, the production technology is scaled up and the product commercialized.

You have the following qualifications:

• MBO/HBO Materials Science, Process Technology or a comparable education with at least 5 years of work experience in one of these fields
• Expertise in the field of project-based work is an advantage
• A flexible attitude and motivated to work for an innovative company
• You are analytical, solution-oriented and eager to learn new things
• You are handy, creative, and have a hands-on mindset
• You have good communication and organizational skills
• You are focused on the safety, health and well-being of yourself and your colleagues in the performance of your job
