All-Electric Coiled Tubing Downline Systems
Paradigm’s all-electric Coiled Tubing Downline Systems are designed for the controlled deployment and retrieval of coiled tubing from multi-service vessels and offshore facilities.
The systems combine compact offshore footprints with precise electric drive control, simplified vessel integration and flexible operating configurations. The product range is available in multiple sizes and capacities, allowing the system to be matched to the required tubing diameter, reel capacity, operating load, deck layout and vessel power supply.
Depending on the selected configuration, the systems feature liquid-cooled electric drives, high-power inverters, permanent-magnet motors and fail-safe braking systems. These technologies provide smooth and accurate control of tubing speed, tension and pay-out while eliminating the transmission losses and maintenance requirements associated with conventional hydraulic drive systems.
Integrated or detachable level-wind systems support controlled spooling and can be configured for different tubing diameters. Electronic monitoring and software-assisted functions provide operators with real-time visibility of key operating parameters, while joystick and remote-control options support safe and efficient operation.
The systems are designed for efficient offshore mobilisation. Depending on the model, configurations can include single-lift arrangements, modular assemblies, ISO corner castings, twist-lock deck interfaces, forklift pockets and separate transport cradles.
