E20 MKII DD e-Winch®
The E10 Single Drum e-Winch® design is based on the latest standard in electric drive technology. Electric power from grid supply or generator is directly converted into winch motion by servo motor and inverter technology.
The single lift winch unit has a single drum winch arrangement with easy exchangeable drums.
The E10 is designed for cased hole operations and can accept Paradigm’s PD02 drum bearing slickline or Slick-E-Line®. NOV Elmar ASEP style winch drums also fit in the winch unit.
The winch is controlled with a removable winch control panel. This allows the winch to be controlled at the winch location or from another location near the winch.

FAQ
What types of operations is the E20MKII Double Drum e-Winch® suitable for?
The E20MKI Double Drum e-Winch® is designed for a wide range of wireline operations, including slickline mechanical services, cased hole logging, heavy-duty fishing, and digital slickline operations. Its advanced electric drive system provides precise speed, torque, and acceleration control, making it highly versatile for both standard and complex well interventions.
How does the E20MKI Double Drum e-Winch® improve operational safety and efficiency?
The winch features a direct electric drive with liquid-cooled high-torque motors and sophisticated control software. Operators benefit from instant torque delivery, ultra-slow logging speeds, automatic jarring, and operator-defined safety parameters to prevent overpulls or pull-offs. These features minimize crew intervention while maximizing safety and operational precision.
What makes the E20MKI Double Drum e-Winch® environmentally friendly?
The e-Winch® is fully electric, eliminating hydraulic losses and direct exhaust emissions. Its energy-efficient design and optional energy recovery system reduce power consumption and CO₂ emissions, supporting low-carbon, environmentally responsible operations without compromising performance.
Can the E20MKI Double Drum e-Winch® operate with limited power supply?
Yes. The e-Winch® can adapt to variable power input (380–480 V, 50–60 Hz) and automatically adjusts line speed and tension to suit available power. This flexibility allows operations in locations with limited grid supply or generator capacity without sacrificing safety or efficiency.
What optional hardware and software can be integrated with the E20MKI Double Drum e-Winch®?
The E20MKI Double Drum e-Winch® can be customized with a variety of options, including ATEX/IECEx-certified drive systems, radio remote control, integrated measuring heads, well control sensors, and Slick-E-Line® or Slick-O-Line® integration. Optional software features include autonomous operation (Ai-Winch™), ParaLife™ line management, remote monitoring, automated jarring, constant tension control, and third-party logging system integration.
